As you can see, I adhered to the traditional imagery of this storied clan: Argent, on a riding crop sable bendwise a quill argent bendwise reversed, charged with an S sable. I can’t wait to see it printed on women’s underwear!

| While searching the Internet for some new funny animal videos, I stumbled across these face-breakingly beautiful linocuts by Edward Bawden. Bawden was a ridiculously prolific illustrator, whose work can be found everywhere from book covers and Folio Society book illustrations to the walls of the London Underground. But I just can’t get enough of these colour prints from his London markets series. If you’ll excuse me, I have to gouge out my eyes now. |
